About John Gunther

John Gunther, MSW, PhD, is Director of the Eastern Michigan University School of Social Work. Dr. Gunther has many years of practice experience working with children and families in child welfare, youth services and mental health settings. For over 25 years he has taught in and administered undergraduate and graduate social work programs. Dr. Gunther has written extensively in the arenas of populations-at-risk, administration and management and family health practice.
