About the author: Dr. Kraszewski received his PhD from The Pennsylvania State University. He is currently Assistant Professor of Comparative Literature at King's College, Wilkes-Barre, PA. He has published many translations of poetry and drama, and scholarly articles, including three earlier books with Mellen: The Romantic Hero and Contemporary Anti-Hero In Polish and Czech Literature (1997); Four Translation Strategies Determined by the Particular Needs of the Receptor (1998); and The Gospel of Matthew with Patristic Commentaries (1999)
