About the author: Michael Giffin is an Anglican priest, editor and author who holds degrees in arts, theology, letters and philosophy from various Australian universities and colleges. He teaches postgraduate distance-learning courses in Literature and theology through the Centre for Christian Spirituality, a member institute of the Sydney College of Divinity.
